About Leighla Beteta

Hello, I’m Leighla! I am originally from Oklahoma and now live in Colorado Springs. I quickly fell in love with this city and state and am proud to call it my home! I have a bachelor’s in art and a master’s in early childhood services. I got my master’s degree while working full time at a child development center on Tinker Air Force Base. That period of my life taught me so much about dedication, time management and efficiency, and it allowed me to get to know the families I work with even better. I have worked with children and their families for the past four years, and I love getting the opportunity to connect with people and getting to know them and their story. I tend to be a jack of many trades and love to create, whether that be through drawing, painting, weaving, or building tables. I have an older dog named Eva who, like her mom, loves food. She also dances when it’s time to eat and loves all the attention. I love being outdoors, exploring new places, and pushing the limits of my current abilities. I grew up in a military family, with my dad having served in the Army for 25 years. My experience has taught me the importance of communication and the environment when you have or are starting a family, and I would love to connect with you and help you find a great home!
