About Cindy Knighten

May I introduce myself?

I often say "I wasn't born in the Mountains of Colorado, but I got here as soon as I could". Born and raised in Minnesota, I received my degree from the University of Minnesota and thanks to the ROTC program there, I received a commission as an officer in the United States Air Force. The Air Force offers me the best opportunity to see the world, and also have a career that would always feel challenging and new. Turns out I chose well! Between the ranks of "green" Second Lieutenant and Captain, I enjoyed positions such as Squadron Commander of more than 750 airmen in Biloxi, Mississippi; and protocol Officer for two different four-star generals at NORAD and Space Command Headquarters in Colorado Springs, Colorado. After fulfilling my military commitment, I chose to work in real estate but I have also worked in the insurance industry, mortgage loan industry, and financial planning. Personally, I think all of that training just prepared me for my MOST IMPORTANT "career"- raising 2 boys. It certainly came in handy!

One of the best things about real estate is that it is always changing-- even while the fundamentals stay the same. I think that's why it's held my interest for more than 30 years. (I can genuinely say I'm in it for the long haul!) So please remember me if you need a loyal agent to team up with because I'd sure like to be your choice.
